Rick Owens x Adidas Brings Sport to the Palais de Tokyo
A new sneaker collaboration and Climacool-technology windbreakers headlined a typically dramatic show.

Rick Owens returned to the reflecting pool at the Palais de Tokyo for Spring/Summer 2027, once again turning a runway show into something closer to performance art elongated silhouettes, monumental outerwear, and his signature monochromatic palette all present and accounted for.
The genuine news, though, was a new Adidas collaboration: a technical sneaker with a cleated sole and an ankle cuffing sock construction that can be worn up or down, alongside inflatable Climacool windbreakers designed to cool a runner mid-marathon. Owens framed the sportswear pivot as a call to reject apathy and doomscrolling a typically Owens way of dressing up a very commercial collaboration in existential stakes, and one that Adidas fans, judging by the crowds outside the venue, seemed entirely happy to buy into.
