From March 2 to 10, the French capital hosted a 'second act' season as sophomore collections replaced last year's wave of designer debuts
Paris Fashion Week Women's Fall/Winter 2026 ran over nine days, from Monday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 10, 2026, according to the official calendar from the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
The season opened with a new generation of talent Weinsanto, Burc Akyol, Kimhekim, Julie Kegels, Hodakova and Vaquera among them before Dior and Saint Laurent both showed on Tuesday, March 3. After a September season dominated by high-profile creative director debuts, this Fall/Winter 2026 calendar was widely described by editors as fashion's "second act": Matthieu Blazy at Chanel, Jonathan Anderson at Dior, Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga, Michael Rider at Celine, and Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at Loewe all presented their sophomore ready-to-wear collections, settling into their new houses with more confidence and less spectacle than their debut seasons.
Notable absences shaped the schedule too: Valentino skipped Paris entirely for a Rome show on March 12, Coperni sat out the season amid a partnership reassessment, and Maison Margiela, Vetements and Casablanca were all missing from the official calendar. The final day belonged to Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu, before Pierre Cardin closed out Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026.
