Vacheron Constantin's Overseas Turns 30

Vacheron Constantin used its thirtieth Overseas anniversary to do two very different things at once: prove the collection can still get thinner, and prove the house's high-complications atelier hasn't slowed down.

The thinnest Overseas reference to date landed alongside the Les Cabinotiers Minute Repeater Tourbillon Skeleton, a one-off from the maison's bespoke department that combines three of watchmaking's hardest-to-execute complications in a single, fully visible movement. It's a pairing that captures Vacheron's particular market position rather neatly — sporty enough to compete with Patek's Nautilus and AP's Royal Oak on the everyday-wear front, while its Cabinotiers division keeps the house's reputation for pure horological ambition intact.
