VACHERON CONSTANTIN'S NEW GMT IS BUILT LIKE A COMPASS
The Overseas titanium GMT comes in four dial colors, each named for a cardinal direction.

Vacheron Constantin's new Overseas GMT, unveiled at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 in titanium, builds its entire design concept around a compass.
Each of its four limited-run dial colourways named for a cardinal direction, including a "North" white variant and a "West" green, a design conceit that ties directly into the Overseas collection's broader travel-and-exploration identity.
The watch measures 41mm, on the larger side within a market cycle that reviewers have generally characterised as favouring smaller, more wearable proportions this year - a deliberate choice, evidently, given the collection's dial texture and colour execution drew specific praise, including a distinctive orange GMT hand that provides a genuine pop of colour against the more restrained dial backgrounds. Reviewers noted the size trade-off explicitly: at 41mm, the piece runs a bit large for some tastes, but the overall execution was compelling enough that most were willing to set that reservation aside.
The subtle dial texture running through each colourway adds a tactile dimension reviewers highlighted as a standout detail, distinguishing the piece from a purely graphic, flat-colour approach to its four-direction concept - texture and colour working together rather than colour alone carrying the entire design conceit.
For a GMT specifically marketed around travel, a compass-inspired concept executed through genuinely considered colourways, rather than a purely decorative gimmick, gives the Overseas GMT a coherent design story that ties its complication directly to its aesthetic identity.
