Calista Liaw is best known as an erhu musician, which makes LIAÜ, the fashion label she launched alongside her album Escapism, a genuinely unusual crossover rather than a typical celebrity side-project.

Conceived as a visual extension of her artistic identity, the label combines fantasy-inspired aesthetics with wearable silhouettes, anchored by signature accessory pieces like the Iron Fairy Shoulder Bag and Queen Bee Shoulder Bag. LIAÜ made its first physical retail appearance at Boutiques Singapore's Spring Summer 2026 edition, where it unveiled new ready-to-wear pieces and exclusive colourways alongside a new bag design a small but telling signal that Singapore's music and fashion scenes are increasingly feeding into each other rather than operating in separate lanes.
