Jisoo Heads to New York for Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2027
At The Plaza, Tommy Hilfiger reframed American prep through colour, proportion and a new generation of global celebrity.

Tommy Hilfiger brought Spring 2027 to The Plaza Hotel in New York on 10 September, turning one of the city’s most recognisable addresses into a stage for a refreshed version of American prep.

Jisoo was among the celebrity guests, joining a crowd that included pop stars, athletes and fashion personalities. The setting was deliberate: Hilfiger once lived at The Plaza, and the house used the location to connect its heritage to a new generation.
The collection modernised classic prep through proportion, colour and fabrication. Signature red, white and blue were joined by vivid yellow and green, while rugby dresses, Oxford shirting, tartan blazers and Ivy-inspired jackets were reworked with contemporary scale.
Jisoo’s presence made sense within that language. Her fashion image often depends on the same tension between classic polish and modern celebrity visibility.
The show also points to a wider movement in American fashion: heritage brands are revisiting their archives, but the objective is not simply nostalgia. The challenge is to make familiar codes feel current to an international audience.
At The Plaza, Hilfiger made the case for prep as something flexible rather than fixed—a wardrobe of references that can still be remixed.
