Inside Prada’s Paragon Reopening: The Stars in Attendance

Prada’s Paragon boutique reopened in Singapore on 27 August after a major expansion, growing to more than 1,200 square metres across two floors.

The reopening brought a distinctly regional guest list to Orchard Road. Prada ambassador and aespa member Karina attended alongside actor Hwang In-youp, with Raisa Andriana, Tatjana Saphira, Meerqeen, Zoe Tay, Rebecca Lim, Ayden Sng and Chantalle Ng among the other guests reported at the celebration.

The redesigned boutique now gives separate space to womenswear and menswear alongside leather goods, footwear, accessories and jewellery. Private styling rooms add a more appointment-led dimension to the retail experience.

What makes the reopening significant is its scale. Prada has been at Paragon since 1999, and the expansion reflects the continuing importance of Singapore as a luxury retail hub for Southeast Asia.

The guest list also shows how regional fashion culture now operates. Korean pop culture, Southeast Asian entertainment and Singaporean personalities can occupy the same luxury environment without feeling like separate audiences.

For Prada, the new Paragon space is therefore more than a larger store. It is a physical expression of how luxury retail in Asia is becoming increasingly regional, connected and experience-driven.
