Dior schedules its Cruise 2028 show for Shanghai
Jonathan Anderson will present Dior’s Cruise 2028 collection in Shanghai on 14 May 2027.

Dior has announced that its Cruise 2028 collection will be presented in Shanghai on 14 May 2027, giving creative director Jonathan Anderson a major runway moment in China.
The announcement places the house’s destination-show tradition in one of Asia’s most important luxury markets.
The Shanghai choice also has historical significance for Dior. Business of Fashion reported that it references a Christian Dior look from the house’s 1948 haute couture collection that was named “Shanghai.” The connection gives the upcoming show a historical framework while linking the house’s archive to its current creative direction.
The decision also arrives as luxury brands continue to engage closely with Chinese consumers through runway shows, exhibitions and retail activations. Dior has already held several China-based events during Anderson’s tenure, making the 2027 Cruise show a larger extension of an existing regional strategy.
