HOW CORTIS BECAME LUXURY FASHION'S FASTEST OBSESSION
The HYBE rookie group turned thrifted Y2K style into a fast track through fashion's biggest houses.

Most K-pop groups spend years building toward their first luxury fashion deal Stray Kids took roughly five, debuting in 2018 before Hyunjin and Felix landed ambassadorships in 2023.
Cortis, the BigHit Music rookie group that debuted in August 2025, didn't wait nearly that long.
Their signature look thrifted, layered, distinctly Gen Z in its Y2K referencing was already trending before their official debut. Since then, individual members have moved quickly into the luxury circuit: a January Seoul photocall in Jonathan Anderson's Dior Spring/Summer 2026 menswear, a Vivienne Westwood Korea portrait spotlighting member Martin, and appearances at Saint Laurent and Dior's Paris shows for the Spring/Summer 2027 menswear season.
What's notable isn't just the speed it's the fit. Cortis writes, produces and directs its own material, resisting the usual K-pop role hierarchy, and that same instinct for doing things their own way shows up in how naturally they've folded high fashion into a look built on thrift-store logic.
