German watchmaking rarely shouts, and A. Lange & Söhne's contribution to Watches and Wonders 2026 was no exception.

A limited-edition Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Lumen that combines three of the hardest complications to execute cleanly into one movement, then adds a luminous dial treatment so the perpetual calendar, oversized date and tourbillon all stay legible in low light. It's a piece built for the kind of collector who wants complexity to disappear into usability rather than announce itself, which is exactly the reputation Lange has spent three decades since its 1990s relaunch quietly building.
